Join Cassandra Cartmill for a session on Inquiry-Based Teaching Techniques

Cassandra Cartmill is joining the Teaching Excellence Seminar Series to share her experience with inquiry-based teaching techniques. She has taught Advanced Placement (AP) biology, Pre-AP biology, and chemistry in Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD for ten years prior to attending UNTHSC. For the past six years, she has been a consultant for the Colorado Education Initiative, where she facilitated Pre-AP biology teachers to increase the inquiry and rigor in their classrooms. As a master teacher, Cassandra has assisted Dallas ISD biology teachers by introducing them to innovative and interactive lessons for all levels of students through the UT Southwestern STARS program. She has also presented these activities at the annual Conference for the Advancement of Science Teaching (CAST).

Please bring your lunch if you are signing up for this individual session.
