JANUARY 4 is the final date to apply for the PRECISION Summer Clinical Research Training Program (TCOM CLASS OF 2024)

The PRECISION Pain Research Registry is adapting the Summer Didactic portion of its Clinical Research Fellowship Program for first-year TCOM students (Class of 2024) in response to feedback from previous fellows and uncertainties related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Changes will involve an increase in the number of available fellowship positions, emphasis on the conduct of group research projects and publications under the supervision of PRECISION faculty, and delivery of the Summer Didactic program exclusively via remote Zoom technology during daily morning sessions, thereby allowing students to reside outside the DFW metroplex during the training period.

The Summer Didactic portion of the program will run from June 7 through June 25, 2021.

Other anticipated program benefits include:
• $500 stipend for participation in the Summer Didactic program
• Complimentary textbook(s) and materials
• Paid poster presentation at Research Appreciation Day 2022
• Co-authorship upon publication of a group research project
• Fellowship certificate at graduation upon completing research and all related requirements.
