March 15: Isabel Soto to present her PhD Research Proposal titled, ” The impact of exercise on cognition, motor functioning, biomarkers, and neural mechanisms of prodromal and early-stage Parkinson’s disease: A translational study using the Pink1 knock-out rat”

In partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Doctor of Philosophy degree in the School of Biomedical Sciences, Maria Isabel Soto will present a seminar entitled, “The impact of exercise on cognition, motor functioning, biomarkers, and neural mechanisms of prodromal and early-stage Parkinson’s disease: A translational study using the Pink1 knock-out rat” on March 15, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. CST in EAD 506. A private defense with the advisory committee will immediately follow the seminar.

Isabel Soto is a doctoral candidate in Pharmacology and Neuroscience, under the supervision of Vicki Nejtek, Ph.D., Associate Professor and Michael Salvatore, Ph.D. Professor.
