Immediate Pharmacology & Neuroscience research opportunities available for GSBS graduate students (traditional program MS and/or PhD)

The Schetz laboratory is interested in advancing knowledge and addressing societal needs by solving problems and answering questions of relevance to medicine and the environment. Innovation and mechanistic approaches guide our research efforts related to neuropharmacology and eco-friendly biotechnologies. Currently recruiting students for multiple actively funded NIH, industry and foundation grant projects focusing on discovery and development of novel therapeutics and disease prevention agents including those related to 1) facilitating recovery from stroke, 2) preventing or slowing the progression Alzheimer?s disease, 3) development of a new generation of insect repellents to prevent the spread of vector-borne infectious diseases, 4) other biotechnology projects
