You will need a current UNTHSC ID badge to gain entry to Lewis Library?s space beginning Thursday, February 2, 2017. The new, badge-controlled security gates are being implemented to enhance library security and provide a safer environment for all patrons. The library service desk will remain accessible to individuals without a badge in order to allow entry by visitors and special guests.
Simultaneous with the change to a badge entry system, the library?s elevator and staircase door evening lockdown schedule will change. The internal elevators and doors will not require a badge for operation until midnight Sunday through Thursday and 10:00pm on Friday and Saturday.
