HSC and the Institute for Health Disparities (IHD) has partner with Arlington Independent School District (AISD) to increase diversity in Science, Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM) higher education. Through this partnership, we have developed the “Coaching UP” program that provides AISD high school students an opportunity to learn about potential careers in the biomedical, behavioral, medical and health, and allied health professions.
We have scheduled our Spring Coaching-UP Event and are in the need of volunteers. The event will consist of a general tour and a lab demonstration. Volunteers will be compensated for their time.
