NextGen will be upgraded on Friday, November 19. This new version will:
o Improve patient portal functionality
o Comply with CURES Act
o Enhance computerized physician order entry
o Import outside lab results into EHR
o Improve process on signing off and closing charts via PAQ
Training in preparation for the upgrade will be mandatory for all HSC Health faculty and staff who use NextGen. Your attendance will be recorded, but there is no need to sign up for a specific training. Here are the available training times and locations:
Tuesday, November 16 | 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. in IREB 250 or 2 – 4 p.m. in IREB 240
Wednesday, November 17 | 8 – 10 a.m. or 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. in MET 109-111
Thursday, November 18 | 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. or 2 – 4 p.m. in IREB 270
