It’s time for your annual flu vaccine!
Flu vaccines are MANDATORY for HSC Health employees and all HSC students attending classes in-person. Flu shots will be given with no out of pocket cost to you.
HSC Health will begin offering flu vaccines during designated times for HSC Employees and Students in October, 2022.
To schedule your appointment:
1. Visit https://phreesia.me/DefaultLink
2. For location, use “HSC Campus”
3. For visit type:
o if you are a current HSC student, select “Student Flu Shot”.
o If you are a current HSC employee, select “Employee Flu Shot” .
4. Select an appointment from the available times listed.
5. Complete the registration information.
Please use your cell phone number and email when registering – the verification code and pre-registration will be sent via text message or email. Be sure to check your junk folder if you do not receive an email!
In order to expedite the check-in process and decrease delays, please complete your pre-visit check-in before arriving for your appointment.

Appointments are by appointment only, however if you are unable to schedule in advance, you will be required to complete your online check-in before receiving your vaccination.
Unfortunately, COVID-19 boosters will not be available during the mass influenza events. COVID-19 vaccines require medical scrutiny that our teams will not be able perform during the mass flu event. To schedule a COVID-19 booster vaccination, please call Priority Care at 817-735-CARE (2273).
If you are a student and would like to request an exemption for the flu vaccine, please visit https://www.unthsc.edu/students/student-health/immunization-requirements/ and follow the instructions listed.
If you are an HSC Health employee and unable to receive the flu vaccine, you must complete a medical or religious exemption waiver located on the UNTHSC Insite page: https://insite.unthsc.edu/patient-care/
