Healthy volunteers (ages 18-40) needed for heat and muscle blood flow research study.

The University of North Texas Health Science Center and the Human Vascular
Physiology Laboratory are currently recruiting volunteers (ages 18-40) to examine the
mechanisms that increase in skeletal muscle blood flow during localized heating. We
are recruiting men and women to take part in this research study.

You must be:
• 18-40 years old
• Generally healthy
• Have not used tobacco/nicotine in the last 6 months (cigarettes, e-cigarettes, chewing
tobacco, nicotine patch/gum)

Study Requirements:
• Visit Human Vascular Physiology Laboratory at UNTHSC for testing on 2 separate
days; the first will be 1-2 hours, the second will be approximately 5 hours, for a total
study time commitment of ~7 hours.
• Participation in this study is voluntary, and if you are a student or employee of
UNTHSC your participation (or non-participation) in this study will in no way affect your
