We are pleased to announce the addition of a new, customer-friendly service provided by Human Resources. Effective January 1, 2017, online provider FMLASource® will administer requests and claims for these important and valuable employee benefits:
• Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
• Parental Leave
• State of Texas Sick Leave Pool
• Sick Leave Donation (Texas Government Code, Sec. 661.207) http://www.statutes.legis.state.tx.us/Docs/GV/htm/GV.661.htm
FMLASource online: https://www.fmlasource.com/FMLAWeb/login/login.xhtml
Employees will be able to request and access records related to these leaves every day, 24 hours a day online or via smartphone app, or by telephone or facsimile from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day.
The online process is easy to use, and we will provide additional support with information sessions on all campuses in January 2017. Be on the lookout for more information provided to your areas.
Prior to the launch of FMLASource®, employees should continue to request FMLA and related leave by following the steps outlined on our website:
