Dr. Hana Baker has worked at Eli Lilly and Company since 2009 as a research scientist. She has extensive experience in pharmacology, in vivo biology, small molecule and biomolecule discovery and development. She also has scientific expertise in dyslipidemia, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and diabetic nephropathy.

She had previously worked under the mentorship of Dr. Johnathan Tune at Indiana University School of Medicine where she received her PhD in cellular and integrative physiology in 2020.

Dr. Baker will present her graduate work titled:

“Mechanisms Underlying Cardiovascular Benefits of Sodium Glucose Co-Transporter 2 Inhibitors: Myocardial Substrate or Sodium/Hydrogen Exchanger?”

alongside an addendum presentation titled:
