Students! Come join us over pizza on Thursday, March 9th from 12:00-1:00 p.m. in MET 124 to engage in a lively discussion with special guest Art Serratelli, Esq., Immigration and Employment Attorney and Jimmy Renfro, Director of the UNTHSC Career Center about what employers can and cannot do (or at least are not supposed to do) with regard to employee search and selection. Art will respond to FAQ’s addressing what kind of questions employers are allowed to ask you when you apply for or are interviewed for a new job, when and how employers are allowed to utilize drug testing, honesty testing, background checks, and credit checks, and illegal discrimination against jobs applicants. If you will be interviewing for a job or internship soon or are just curious about the legal implications in job searching and interviewing, this workshop is for you!
