Dr. Daniel L. Gonzales is a Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) Hanna Gray postdoctoral fellow in the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering at Purdue University. He currently works in the Nano-Neurotechnology Laboratory under Dr. Krishna Jayant developing interfaces to probe neural activity at the nanoscale. He is a first-generation college student and native Texan, receiving his BS in Physics from Angelo State University and PhD in Applied Physics from Rice University.
