Dr. Meyer graduated from the University of Texas at Galveston as a Physician Assistant. While practicing clinically as a PA, she earned her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies degree with specialization in neurosurgery from the University of Nebraska. She began her teaching career as a PA faculty member at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport from 2002 – 2005 and served as PA Program Director there from 2005 – 2015. At LSU, she maintained a part-time clinical practice in neurosurgery and earned a PhD in Education from Capella University with specialization in Higher Education Leadership. In 2015, her family moved to Fort Worth Texas where she accepted a faculty appointment at UNTHSC as an Associate Professor in the PA Program and accepted a position as Director of the Center for Innovative Learning (CIL) in January of 2017. She now leads a talented and diverse group of educational innovators in the support of academic excellence in the CIL at UNTHSC. Dr. Meyer maintains academic appointments in PA Studies and in TCOM’s Department of Medical Education.

Dr. Bartoletti serves as Assistant Director/Instructional Designer at the Center for Innovative Learning at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. Dr. Bartoletti works with faculty and clinicians to plan and coordinate the design, development, and implementation of curriculum for healthcare-related professions. Dr. Bartoletti recommends instructional strategies and educational technologies in the development of learning outcomes. She also assists program deans and chairs in the scheduling of faculty development and other educational programs and maintains the Center for Innovative Learning faculty focused website. Dr. Bartoletti’s experience includes over 20 years of experience in all levels of education with a focus on technology and has led numerous presentations and workshops around the country. She has served as co-investigator on projects with a focus on Faculty Development for Teaching Excellence and the Use of an Educational Tool Kit to Teach Mechanics of Materials in biomedical education. Dr. Bartoletti earned her Master of Information Science from the University of North Texas and Doctorate of Education from Texas Woman’s University as well as certificates in Interprofessional Education from the University of Washington and Principles of Medical Education from Harvard University.
