The Maternal Health Program within the Department of Pediatrics and Women’s Health is looking for Graduate Research Assistants to perform work related to our Maternal mortality case preparation project under the direction of Drs. Raines-Milenkov and Felini.
Students will work with the team to provide redaction services of maternal death records including medical records, autopsies, investigative reports and other relevant documents. We are looking for students with the following skills, abilities:
-Attention to detail
-Good communication skills
-Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing processes
-Interest in women’s/maternal health
Currently, we are looking for four students for the FY2024-2025 year.
Due to the nature of the work and our collaboration with the Texas Department of State Health Services, the four positions are currently 16-19 hours per week. This will be discussed further during the interview process.
