The Office of Sustainability within Facilities Management supports our university?s mission by encouraging our campus to adopt behaviors that are better for the health of our community and environment. There are two main ways to get involved:
? Sustainability Committee: The committee creates new initiatives and votes on projects with funds from the Environmental Service Fee. In the past, we have supported the Fort Worth Bike Share, UNTHSC Community Garden, public transit passes, etc.
? The Sustainability Liaison Program is for those with more time constraints but who are passionate about spreading the word about sustainability on campus. As a liaison, you’d communicate upcoming events and announcements to your peers and forward feedback from your department on sustainable activities they’d like to see on campus.
