Did you know the numbers for colon cancer are fairly equal in men AND women? According to the American Cancer Society, approximately 1 in 22 men and 1 in 24 women will be diagnosed with CRC in their lifetime.
Please join Medical City Fort Worth and UNT Health Science Center for a special colon cancer awareness and education event. Colon cancer education information along with new screening guidelines will be distributed. Faculty, staff, students and community members are invited to this free event. Lunch will be available as well as presentations by Dr. Monte Troutman (UNTHSC) and Dr. Suhail Sharif (Medical City).
