Hi fellow students, members of the faculty and staff!
My name is Kim Truong and I am a student here at UNTHSC. August 29, 2016, marked the 11th year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. You may have heard there was a flood recently in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Having experienced Hurricane Katrina, I wanted to do something to give back to the city that helped New Orleans in her time of need.
I thought this would be a good opportunity to gather donations from others who also want to help the flood victims. I?ll ship your items for you! For a list of flood relief items needed, please see below. A donation box is placed at the lounge near RES 100 and also by 4 Star Café on the left hand side near the exit (by Montgomery). The donation boxes will be taken down October 1st. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at kt0290@my.unthsc.edu. Thank you to everyone who has donated!
Sincerely,
Kim Truong
