Fire Alarm Testing is scheduled for the following buildings; EVERETT, RES, LIB, CBH, MET, FMB, GSB and SSC.
Communication Concepts will be on campus Monday through Friday beginning May 8,2017 thru May 31, 2017 to perform tests on our Fire Alarm Systems. Although the audibles and strobes will not be activated for the test, Utilities personnel will be making announcements before and after the inspections over the fire alarm speakers which will activate the strobes. In the event audibles and strobes are seen or heard during this inspection no evacuation is necessary. In the event of a real emergency Utilities personnel will make an announcement over the fire alarm speakers. This testing is a mandatory code requirement.
