Grants and Funding Opportunities

Federal Statistical Research Data Center in DFW
June 19, 2015

Federal Statistical Research Data Centers (RDCs)are partnerships between federal statistical agencies and research institutions. They are secure facilities providing authorized access to restricted-use microdata for statistical research purposes only. This data is currently restricted and difficult to obtain.

The Office of Research Development & Commercialization is collecting research proposals from UNTHSC researchers that are interested in statistical analysis of non-public Census microdata. These proposals will go into an application to open an RDC in the Dallas/Fort Worth regional area.

If funded, the center will offer UNTHSC researchers with approved projects access to a wide range of restricted-use data collected by federal statistical agencies.

Researchers are encouraged to submit a short project write-up at https://qtrial2014az1.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_8q5p4xAlLRs6rUp

Please respond by July 3rd.

If you have questions about the submission process please contact Aurelio Rodriguez at Aurelio.Rodriguez@unthsc.edu.
