Dear HSC Faculty and Staff,
It is with mixed emotions that I let you know that Janine Watkins, assistant vice chancellor and chief human resources officer, has resigned from HSC to return home to Ohio for another career opportunity. Her last day on campus will be Sept. 23.
Under Janine’s leadership, HR has become a strategic business partner to campus, and there have been great strides made toward furthering HSC’s mission through our values and putting the people first.
Janine’s position will be posted immediately, and a search committee will be formed as we look nationally for a new leader. Until someone is hired, please reach out to your existing primary contact in HR or to me. I am confident that we will find a new leader who will continue to build upon the successes that Janine started by being a collaborative partner and serving our customers well.
