While the representation in academic medicine is growing, those working in academia still face unique barriers to success. Inadequate mentorship, discrimination, and lack of a work-life balance contribute to career dissatisfaction, burnout, and ultimately under-representation in leadership roles. RAISE for Women in Academia offers an interactive model for sharing knowledge, skills, and resources needed for all to thrive and lead in academia. We invite you to submit an anonymous case study for upcoming RAISE sessions! Keep reading for answers to our FAQs:
What is the goal of submitting an anonymous case study?
Submitting an anonymous case study allows you to foster community through your shared experiences. Sharing your experiences in academia whether you are faculty or staff can help someone else to feel less alone in their career.
Can I remain anonymous through this process?
Absolutely! While we do lead discussions surrounding each case study received, RAISE for Women in Academia will never reveal the subjects. Participating in a discussion allows you to not only receive solutions for the concerns of your case but provide sharp solutions for other cases.
How/where can I submit an anonymous case study?
