Everett Fire Alarm Project

Hello Everyone,
Facilities is continuing the upgrading of the fire alarm system in Everett. This process will include installing new devices and removing old equipment. Installers will need access to most spaces in the building. They will take care to work around class and event schedules in shared spaces. They will also need to access offices and labs. They will install one device at a time, floor by floor, and then remove devices the same way after installation is complete.
Terry Rogers will contact lab and office occupants before work is set to begin on their floor. Please direct any questions or special scheduling concerns to him at Installers will typically spend an hour per room as they go (more for large rooms with several devices). The project will be ongoing for approximately twenty weeks, and work will now begin on the 2nd Floor starting August 12th.
