Finding inspiration in the things around her is part of the job for Shea Patterson, Special Events Manager in the HSC President’s Office.
But COVID-19 cancelled most events and forced Shea to work remotely leaving her, like many of us, feeling disconnected. To keep herself and others inspired and engaged, she started an experiment to create a new centerpiece each weekday from things around her house and outside her window.
She started an Instagram account and has so far shared about 100 centerpiece images, sparking conversations and bringing joy to her followers.
“It has become a great way to keep conversation going and has proven to be a point of positive engagement for me and those following the project,” Shea said.
