UNTHSC Team,
As promised, here are the institution-wide results for the Gallup Employee Engagement Survey conducted early this year. The results are located at https://insite.unthsc.edu/our-initiatives/. Soon we will share with you an online database with area-level data as well as a virtual "toolkit" to develop action plans for improvement within your teams.
Now:
As we analyzed the UNT Health Science Center results, one question stood out to work on as an organization in the coming year:
In the last seven days, I have received recognition or praise for doing good work.
We added a measure related to recognition in our Strategic Plan to ensure we maintain focus on this across the institution.
And Next:
All supervisors will complete training on the Employee Engagement Toolkit either in person, via a webinar, or with their supervisors. The purpose of the training is to learn how to use the toolkit with the final goal of improving the engagement of our team. By improving engagement, we will increase our ability to achieve HSC’s visionary goals.
