UNTHSC Corrections Medical Director Dr. John Mills, acts as the Governor-appointed Chair of the Opioid Abatement Fund Council. Mills presented to the Statewide Behavioral Health Coordinating Council Health and Human Services Commission Thursday, Feb 24th, about his vision for the nearly $1B in funding from the State of Texas to mitigate and abate opioid addiction.
