Dr. Dimitrios Karamichos receives an Achievements in Eye and Vision Advocacy Award

Dr. Dimitrios Karamichos, interim dean of the College of Biomedical and Translational Sciences at The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth, has been awarded The Achievements in Eye and Vision Advocacy Award by the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO).

Karamichos, also the executive director of the North Texas Eye Research Institute at UNTHSC, is being recognized as someone who has dedicated his career to advancing eye and vision research through advocacy at all levels with this award.
