Dr. Diana Cervantes featured panelist, “Lessons from COVID-19: What has Tarrant County Learned?”

Dr. Diana Cervantes, director of HSC’s MPH in Epidemiology program, will be a featured panelist Wednesday, Oct. 19, in a discussion titled “Lessons from COVID-19: What has Tarrant County Learned?”

The panel will focus on what experts learned about amplifying facts and tamping down rumors when it comes to health information. Other panelists will be Vinny Taneja, director of Tarrant County Public Health; Dr. Mary Robinson, chief nursing officer of Texas Health Resources; and Becky Moreno, community health worker at Baylor Scott & White Quality Alliance.
