The President’s Alumni Award for Distinguished service was created in 2017 to honor a University of North Texas Health Science Center graduate who has distinguished herself or himself through outstanding personal and professional achievements in their field. The recipient will demonstrate the University’s core values of Serving Others First, Integrity, Respect, Collaboration and Being Visionary as well as living and embracing the UNTHSC vision of One university, built on values, defining and producing the providers* of the future. *Providers of research, teaching and health care delivery and public health delivery, working in interprofessional teams drawn from all disciplines.
