Diversity Seminar Series: March 30 – feat. Dr. Kedra Wallace

The recent winter storm has impacted us all and the speakers we had lined up for the Diversity Seminar Series were no exception. We have been working hard to move the speakers whose seminars were disrupted by the winter storm and its effects. We are excited to announce the remaining line up with new dates for the remainder of the Spring semester, including Dr. Kedra Wallace coming up on March 30th at noon.

Dr. Wallace’s seminar is titled “Being in the right place at the right time…and other nonsense.” Dr. Kedra Wallace is a tenured Associate Professor with a joint appointment in the Departments of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Neurobiology & Anatomical Sciences at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. She currently serves as Program Director for the Clinical Investigation master’s degree program, Track Director for the Maternal-Fetal-Medicine graduate program and as Research Division Director for the Obstetrics & Gynecology department. Wallace’s research focuses on the mechanisms linking hypertension, inflammation and mental health.
