Distinguished Engineering Lecture by Dr. Lihong Wang – Photoacoustic Tomography & Compressed Ultrafast Photography – Friday, 11/13

UNT’s Department of Biomedical Engineering is hosting the CENG Distinguished Engineering Lecture series and has extended an invitation to HSC faculty.

Dr. Lihong Wang, the Bren Professor of Medical Engineering and Electrical Engineering at California Institute of Technology, will be presenting “World’s Deepest-Penetration and Fastest Optical Cameras: Photoacoustic Tomography and Compressed Ultrafast Photography” on Friday, November 13 at 2 pm.

Professor Wang is a Fellow of several Professional Societies, including AAAS, AIMBE, IAMBE, IEEE, OSA, SPIE, and inducted to National Academy of Engineers for recognized achievements in photoacoustic tomography, microscopy, and ultrafast (fs level) photography for functional, metabolic, molecular, and histologic imaging.

Please see attached flyer. Below is the Lecture site to register and receive an invitation with Zoom link to attend the Lecture hosted by the Biomedical Engineering Department: https://engineering.unt.edu/seminars/2020/photoacoustic-tomography-and-compressed-ultrafast-photography
