UNTHSC’s Earth Day Event, hosted by the Office of Sustainability, will be April 20 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the MET.
You’ll find many educational and interactive opportunities to learn ways we can protect the environment and public health.
Be sure to RSVP for an exciting segment: Cooking demonstrations!
Because our food choices affect our environment, we’ll present two cooking demonstrations with samples, prizes, and giveaways. A chef will do a quick recipe demonstration of a dish that is good for you and good for the environment, and you’ll take a food sample served in eco-friendly, compostable cups with a reusable cutlery set.
There are two demonstrations: at 11:15 a.m. with FitWorth and at 12:15 p.m. with Blue Zones Project, each lasting about 30 minutes.
