We will be having a planting day on Saturday, March 19th from 8:00 am-11:00 am.
We invite all the old and new members to come down and join us for the planting session. If you have any seeds which you would like to contribute to the plot (and the plants are for this season), you are welcome to bring some. If not, you can help with the seeds which we will have with us. It will be a fun, collaborative come-and-go event and it is not a project that will require a lot of time and effort.
Gardening expert Micheline Hynes, Tarrant Area Food Bank Community Garden Educator; Laura Miller, Texas Agri life Extension Agent; and the garden?s own awesome compost team, will be present to give us hands-on help and advice on how to go about planting .
It would be an opportunity for all the new/old members to mingle on a nice Saturday morning. We hope a lot of you will turn up. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
