Center for Geriatrics Graduate Research Assistant Position – Apply now!

The Center for Geriatrics is seeking a graduate student to assist with our Seniors Assisting in Geriatric Education (SAGE) and Healthy Aging and Independent Living (WE HAIL) Programs. The Graduate Research Assistant with be charged with research related assignments in the form of literature review, data analysis, report writing, as well as office duties such as filing, assisting with mass mailings, and communicating with the older adult mentors involved in our SAGE program via phone and email.

This position requires knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software, Excel, and experience performing data analysis including descriptive correlation and group comparisons. We are looking for a student who is self-motivated and detail-oriented, meets challenges with integrity and ambition, and has strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills.

Interested persons are not required to be work study eligible; however, Work Study students are encouraged to apply (contact the Office of Financial Aid x2505, to verify eligibility) and be available up to 10 – 15 hours a week. This is a paid position, up to $17/hr DOE.
