Thank you to all the students, faculty, and staff who supported the Career Readiness Center in fulfilling a very active and dynamic “Career Readiness Month” during April, the fifth such event series at the HSC!
In all, around 350-plus students attended one or more of the events during the month. Event Highlights included several in-person and virtual activities:
- Kickoff Breakfast
- JCPenney Suit-up
- DPT Job Fair
- DEI – Redefining Professionalism
- Networking/Elevator Pitch
- Etiquette Dinner
- Internship & Residency Fair
- Salary & Benefits/Contract Negotiation
There were several students who won prizes, including clothing stipends for JCPenney Suit-up: Dylan Bodie (School of Public Health) and Emily Lin (TCOM)
Three students who won prizes for attending at least three Career Readiness Month events: Yosef Ansarizadeh, Isabella Moon, and Yen Tran (all from TCOM)
In case you missed any of the workshops or would like to back and re-watch the recorded sessions, we will post these soon to the Career Readiness Center ‘Events and Workshops’ page:
