Canvas Clinic: Course Modules and Course Accessibility

Creating an accessible course involves ensuring that all materials are usable by individuals with diverse abilities. This includes providing alternative text for images, captions for videos, and designing content that is easily navigable and readable for everyone. 

This and all the Canvas Clinic sessions are hands-on and best experienced with a personal laptop or large tablet device.  

Objectives:  

  1. Describe the importance of chunking content in Canvas modules.  
  2. Create a Canvas Module.  
  3. Add course components to a module.  
  4. Copy and/or Send course content from/to a module.  
  5. Determine module restrictions. 
  6. Create an accessible course in Canvas.
