Ever wanted to show your family and friends some of the cool projects we do at UNTHSC? Then sign up for Family Day, 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12 at the MET and other campus locations.
All UNTHSC schools will provide tours, and there will be a bounce house, yard games and face painting for the whole family.
There is no cost to attend. Food will be available for purchase from food trucks.
The event will culminate with a PowderPuff football game pitting student teams in a friendly rivalry.
HSC for Life, the Alumni Association and the Best Place for All groups are sponsoring the event.
“We hope this event becomes a tradition that contributes to people feeling a sense of pride and connectedness to UNT Health Science Center,” said Stephanie Cuellar, Manager, Community Relations and Alumni Relations and the event’s coordinator.
“This event will allow all UNTHSC affiliates to come together to celebrate our institution’s past, present, and future.”
