More than 350 entries were submitted for this year’s Atrium Gallery High School Art Show, featuring the talent, creativity and promise of young North Texas artists. The Atrium Gallery is a place where art meets science, and HSC is proud each year to showcase and applaud the work of students in our community. They are the future and influence of our environment in the next century.
Since 1985, the High School Art Competition has provided an extraordinary opportunity for talented 11th and 12th grade students throughout North Texas to exhibit their best works in mixed media, printmaking, photography, drawing, three-dimensional art, painting and computer design.
For some students, this is their only opportunity to compete with peers. Significantly, they will likely be not only the painters, potters and sculptors of the future, but also the designers of our clothes, cars, homes and lifestyles. Our environment will be enhanced by nurturing and encouraging these future artists.
Students in the following counties are eligible to enter this juried competition: Cooke, Denton, Erath, Hood, Johnson, Palo Pinto, Parker, Somervell, Tarrant and Wise.
