Anatomy faculty candidate, Dr. Lauren Gonzales, Assistant Professor – Univ. South Carolina, “Sensory ecology, behavior, and the primate fossil record” 11 am on Tuesday, Feb 11th in IREB 350

Dr. Lauren Gonzales is interviewing for a faculty position in the UNTHSC Center for Anatomical Sciences. Dr. Gonzales is currently an Assistant Professor of Anatomy at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine – Greenville. Her research program focuses on sensory anatomy/neuroscience with an emphasis on the functional role of the semicircular canals in vision stabilization and balance. Dr. Gonzales is also an active paleontologist with excavation sites in both South America and East Africa.

Dr. Gonzales will present on her research during a seminar at 11 am in IREB 350 on Tuesday, February 11th. Coffee and cookies will be provided.
