AHSE: Incorporating Well-Being Into Your World

As we celebrate Heart Month, it’s the perfect time to focus on the well-being of our hearts and our whole selves.

This interactive workshop focuses on promoting a holistic approach to well-being and equipping participants with practical tools to lead healthier, more balanced lives. Participants will explore the key dimensions of a healthy lifestyle, including physical, emotional, social, and mental well-being.

Through engaging discussions and activities, attendees will identify effective strategies to incorporate well-being practices into their daily routines, whether on campus or in personal life. The workshop also offers an introduction to mindfulness practices, allowing participants to experience techniques that foster relaxation and presence.

A highlight of the session is the creation of a personalized self-care toolkit, tailored to individual needs and preferences, empowering participants to sustain and nurture their well-being long after the workshop concludes.

Objectives:

  • Discuss the dimensions of a healthy lifestyle.
  • Identify well-being strategies that can be incorporated into daily living on and off campus.
  • Engage in mindfulness practices, including designing a personalized self-care toolkit.
