Agricultural Medicine: Occupational & Environmental Health for Rural Health Professionals
PRACTICAL MEDICAL EDUCATION FOR THE RURAL HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONAL:
The Agromedicine Workshop is the culmination of almost 40 years of training initiated and conducted by The University of Iowa. Agromedicine Workshops are currently offered in Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, North Dakota, Nebraska, Vermont ,North Carolina and Texas.
This is the first workshop in a four part series. Part one will include regionally relevant topics presented by experts from Texas and Iowa. Topics include an introduction to agromedicine, southwest agriculture overview, special risk populations and agricultural respiratory diseases
OPEN TO:
Medical students, residents, physicians, nurses, public health professionals, health educators, exten-sion specialists and veterinarians.
