To commemorate Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD), the Division of Academic Innovation is hosting an event showcasing simulations of various disabilities to get everyone talking, thinking and learning about digital access and inclusion for the more than 1 billion people with disabilities/impairments worldwide.
Activities will include:
• Using low vision simulation goggles
• Dyslexia typing simulation
• Demonstration of orientation and mobility practices
• Demonstration of assistive technology devices
• Demonstration of iOS and Android accessibility apps for smart devices
