The UNTHSC Medical Business Association (MBA) will be be hosting a medical business week during the week of October 29th – November 2nd! We are excited to announce the week’s keynote speaker- Joe Freudenberger, CEO of OakBend Medical Center and Ernst and Young 2017 Healthcare Entrepreneur of the Year in the Gulf Coast Area – to give a speech about 5 Things to know about the Business of Medicine! Mr. Freudenberger will be speaking from 5:30-7pm and, shortly after, there will be a happy hour from 7-9pm. The event will take place in MET 124 on Friday, November 2nd. This event is open to all programs here on campus and will benefit all students, faculty, and staff who attend. The business of healthcare is an important topic that will be applicable to all members of the UNTHSC community. See attached video for a preview of topics to be discussed.
