2021 National Health Service Corps Scholarship Application Open

 

The NHSC Scholarship Program applicants include health professional students studying to become physicians, dentists, nurse practitioners, nurse midwives or physician assistants with a commitment to practice in underserved communities. In exchange, they commit to serve a minimum of two years in high-need, underserved communities. Scholars receive one year of financial support (up to four years) for each year of service at an NHSC-approved site.

Beginning Monday May 3, 2021 at 8 AM Students and Alumni will have the opportunity to:
• Request for transcripts to be sent electronically
• Review, cancel, and track transcript orders through a personalized online portal
• Place transcript orders 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
• Purchase expedited shipping labels for mailed requests if needed

*All previously requested transcript requests will be processed by the Office of the Registrar. Parchment services do not begin until Monday, May 3rd at 8 AM*

NRMN looking for a Student Data Analyst (Short-Term)

 

Job Title: Data Analyst (Short-Term)

Hours Per Week: 10 hours per week

● Experience extracting data in a presentable format.
● Analytical and problem-solving skills
● Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, word processing.

● Students who will not be graduating before July 2021 are eligible for this opportunity.

Job Description:
Analyzing qualitative and quantitative data gathered from NRMN’s end-of-course surveys distributed to participants in an online unconscious bias course. The project team is made up of researchers from three institutions across three states. Applicants must be prepared to provide weekly updates either via email or Zoom meetings and to attend project team meetings as they occur. Work on this project will begin immediately and will conclude by June 30, 2021.
