Manager Minute – REMINDER! Webinar today re: Performance Management

Today, April 30, 10 a.m. to noon, view a webinar on Zoom led by Amanda Fisher, ODE Senior Learning and Development Specialist, talking about performance management.

Performance management isn’t just about rating or evaluating performance. Instead, it’s a tool that you can use to focus on aligning your workforce, improving performance on your team, supporting development and driving results all year round. We could say that performance management is one of a supervisor’s most important roles when it comes to contributing to the success of their team.

This performance management session will help managers recognize performance problems and give them the skills to address the problem effectively. Included in this session are practical activities, reflection questions, and scenarios/examples to assist the facilitator in creating awareness around the objectives and encourage active participation from attendees.

Minors on Campus

Dear HSC Team,

We hope that you and your families remain healthy and safe during this time.
As we navigate through this pandemic, almost all campus activities have reverted to remote/virtual, therefore we want to take this opportunity to remind you of the requirements for Minors on Campus.

ALL activities involving minors must adhere to the Minors on Campus Policy regardless of location or delivery of activities (e.g. remote and virtual activities included). Any activity and/or event not adhering to the Minors on Campus Policy will be in potential violation of HSC policies and Texas State Statute. We kindly encourage anyone who has a planned Minors on Campus activity and/or event to review the Minor on Campus requirements- HSC Programs for Minors on Campus or contact Paty Cisneros, paty.cisneros@unthsc.edu for additional information.
