Join us for a seminar by Dr. Carrie German, who leads multidisciplinary teams at CFD Research Corporation in the development of in vitro and in silico platforms for drug development. Her NIH- and FDA-funded research includes organ-on-chip models of the corneal and placental barriers, computational pharmacokinetics for ophthalmic drugs, and bioequivalence modeling of ocular tissues.
With a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and a Certificate in Toxicology from Oklahoma State University, Dr. German brings extensive experience in physiologically-based PK/PD modeling, ocular and hepatic drug metabolism, and translational strategies for bridging preclinical and clinical drug evaluation.
This presentation is part of the NTERI Seminar Series. Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to attend in person. A Zoom option is also available for those unable to join on-site.
