Re: Cancellation of 2020 Research Appreciation Day

In our ongoing efforts to protect the health and safety of our campus as well as our community, we are canceling all in-person events related to our annual Research Appreciation Day (RAD).

We are currently working with Dr. Todd Kashdan, this year’s keynote speaker, to livestream his presentation and will provide you details when finalized. (More info about Dr. Kashdan can be found at www.toddkashdan.com)

We are so proud of everyone who was planning to participate in this year’s RAD and sincerely appreciate all your time, energy and effort.

All abstracts that were accepted for presentation at RAD and were submitted as a course or curriculum requirement will still be valid and evaluated by course directors and instructors as needed.

For those who would like to include an accepted RAD abstract on their resume or curriculum vitae (CV), they may list the abstract as “accepted for presentation at Research Appreciation Day (RAD), UNTHSC, March 27, 2020” or similar relevant language.

We appreciate your understanding as we work through the logistics of canceling this event and look forward to your support of our 2021 RAD celebration.
