Join us as we hear from Dr. Sima Mozdbar, Assistant Professor in the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and practicing HSC Health clinic optometrist, as she discusses the importance of vision health and what you can do to ensure your eyes are well taken care of. Dr. Mozdbar will answer your questions about eye screening, technology and how to avoid its negative effects on your vision, and how to be proactive about your eye health.
Learn about the discoveries and perspectives from experts at the HSC. This virtual format will be delivered through Zoom and will allow for audience Q&A in real-time.

Sima Mozdbar, OD
Dr. Sima Mozdbar is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and Texas State Board certified as an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist and Therapeutic Optometrist. She practices full-scope optometry, with a focus on ocular disease, cataract co-management, and specialty contact lenses.
She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Neuroscience, and also serves as Director of Community Outreach within the North Texas Eye Research Institute. Dr. Mozdbar is a member of the Texas Optometric Association, American Academy of Optometry, Tarrant County Optometric Society, American Optometric Association, and Texas Public Health Association.
