Join Jane Oderberg, Instructor and Project Coordinator for Dementia C.A.R.E.S, on Thursday, December 10, 2020, from 12 noon to 1 PM for an engaging HSC Speakers Bureau webinar!

An expert social worker, Jane Oderberg will discuss her work with Dementia C.A.R.E.S., a 6-week program that addresses the well-being of those caring for loved ones with Alzheimer’s and dementia.

Learn about the discoveries and perspectives from experts at the HSC. This virtual format will be delivered through Zoom and will allow for audience Q&A in real-time.

Jane

Jane Oderberg, LMSW, CDP, CADDCT

Jane Oderberg received her BA from the University of Pittsburgh and her Masters in Counseling from Loyola University New Orleans. She is a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) in Texas. She has worked in the aging field for 38 years in a variety of settings—senior centers, non-profit organizations, assisted living and long term care, and private psychiatric hospitals. She also worked in oncology at a local non-profit as a social worker and program director. Jane is a founding member of the Tarrant Area Gerontological Society and is a member of NASW national and Texas. Jane has 3 adult children, 7 grandchildren and 3 cats.

Dementia CARES

Dementia CARES (Caregiver Access to Resources, Education, and Support) is a 6-week caregiver education and support program for those caring for someone with dementia. This program is offered to patients and caregivers and is also open to the public.
