Explore HSC’s new degree offering and how Misti and the School of Health Professions are molding the Lifestyle Health professionals of the future.

Bio Misti

Misti Zablosky, Ph.D., LAT, DipACLM, CHWC 

Interim Chair and Assistant Professor in the Department of Lifestyle Health Sciences. Dr. Zablosky holds a PhD in Kinesiology from Texas Woman’s University. She also earned a M.S. in Kinesiology from The University of North Texas and a B.S. in Exercise and Sport Science from Tarleton State University. She is a licensed athletic trainer, a lifestyle medicine certified health and wellness coach and board-certified in Lifestyle Medicine by the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. Before joining UNTHSC she worked as an Associate Professor of Health and Wellness at Paul Quinn College. At PQC, she developed and implemented curriculum for a new Bachelor’s degree program in Health and Wellness. Dr. Zablosky is currently participating in research that is investigating the effects of exercise on cancer-related cognitive impairments of African American women with breast cancer. In her free time, she enjoys chasing her two year old, spending time outdoors with her family and reading new books.
